When you die — and all of us will — what would you like done? Where should your magical tools go? What would you like said at your funeral?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If you want any say in these important last issues, you must write them down and give them to a person legally empowered to administer your last wishes. Otherwise, your next of kin will have the legal right to bury you and dispose of your books and tools as *they* see fit, not you! We have seen this happen again and again, because the deceased had not written down their wishes.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As a service to its members, the SEF is offering to be a repository for these important documents. Fill out this form, adapted from a similar form from the Funeral Consumer Alliance, and send a copy to SEF, 35 Inman Street, Hopedale, MA 01747.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Write “funeral” on the lower left side of the envelope. We will not open the envelope, but will store it *sealed* in a file with your name on it. No one from the SEF will look at it, unless directed by you or your designated agent. (You may send us, if you wish, a separate communication telling us who your designated agent will be.)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This is particularly important if you want SEF members to perform your funeral, burial service, etc. We need to know. Please, tell us.<\/strong><\/h2>\n
