There will be a craft for kids (of any age). Ritual begins at 2pm immediately followed by the maypole dance and potluck feast.
The Tween and Teen Esbat group will meet for our public ritual on Saturday the 11th of May at 6pm. $5 suggested donation.
A small pot luck will follow ritual. Because we meet at a traditional dinner time, making sure you and your kids have a little snack before you arrive is a good idea. Please no soda, nuts, peanuts, or candy. Bring a cold dish or something in a crock pot.
This public event is open to families with children aged 10 to 18 who are interested in taking part in rituals. Many of the tweens who participate take turns as the high priest or priestess of the evening, working with one of the adults running the group.

Well, I wouldn’t have used ‘inflamed witch’ to describe Maria Perschy’s character – infatuated is a better description. She wants Jeffrey Hunter’s college professor all to herself and instead keeps landing herself and him in different time periods, all of which have other women competing for his affections, from prehistoric and Roman times to the Spanish Inquistion and the far future, where he winds up the only man among the last seven women left to repopulate the Earth.
A true forgotten film of the ‘60s, this one BEGS to be seen by Conjure Cinema devotees – sharpen up your best MST3K repartee and let loose on this amazing stinker – it was made to be in the mold of BEWITCHED and I DREAM OF JEANNIE, but it’s much, MUCH worse! 2019 brings us around again to a year of Celtic myth and ritual.
Join us for a story and craft, ritual and the ever popular Ostara’s Egg Hunt! The Goddess Ostara and her Hare employ parent volunteers to hide eggs for the kids (and young at heart).
Please bring a snack to share – no candy, soda, tree or peanuts, please.
The PFC is appropriate for families with children of all ages, as well as the young at heart. If you have pre-teens and teenagers who are looking for community, they are most welcome. Please also join us with your 10-18 year olds in Hudson on the second Saturday of the month for ritual and pot luck dinner with the Tween and Teen group.

Join us as we welcome the growing light of mid-winter in a Imbolc ritual honoring Hestia. We will ask for her purification and blessings as we cleanse ourselves of the obstacles in our lives. The members of Moon Circle – a CUUPS chapter group from the Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson – and the Society of Elder Faiths are jointly offering this circle for all who are looking to celebrate the return of longer days and shorter nights, even as we make our way through snow and slush.
Imbolc is a time of promises to come from the earth—the promise of warmth, the promise of light, the promise of growth and through growth, sustenance. Come and renew your spirit as we ask Hestia for her blessings. On Friday, February 1, doors open at 6pm, doors will close and the pre-ritual discussion will begin at 7 PM. There will be a potluck supper following the ritual, so please bring a dish to share. We’ll supply cups, plates, eating utensils and beverages. (No alcohol please). All adults are welcome; no experience is necessary.
